Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data we process when you use the Archway website and the Archway Unreal Engine 5 plugin, and why. It is written for a soft open — clear and direct, not a substitute for advice from a lawyer.

Short version

  • This site sets no marketing cookies and loadsno third-party analytics.
  • Checkout and tax invoicing are handled by Lemon Squeezy (merchant of record).
  • We store what we need to deliver your license, answer support, and process reissues or refunds (email, license id, tier, order id).
  • Questions or rights requests: contact@origoma.com

Who we are

Archway is offered by ORIGOMA(“we”, “us”). Contact for privacy matters: contact@origoma.com. We do not publish a physical postal address on this page for the MVP soft open; email is the channel for requests.

Data we collect

We collect only what is needed to run licensing and support. Typical fields:

  • Email address — provided at checkout (via Lemon Squeezy) or when you use reissue / refund forms. Used to send the license file and reply to support.
  • License ID (e.g. lic_…) — unique id for your Archway license.
  • Tier — Free, Pro, Studio Team, Studio Source (or equivalent product variant).
  • Order ID — purchase / order reference from our payment provider, so we can match refunds and support to a sale.
  • Optional form fields — e.g. refund reason or free-text detail you choose to send.
  • Technical logs — short-lived server logs (timestamps, status codes, request metadata) for security and debugging of the license API. We do not use these for marketing profiles.

Payment card data is processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.

Where data is processed

We rely on the following processors / hosts:

  • Lemon Squeezy — merchant of record: checkout, payments, tax/VAT invoices, and related customer records under their privacy policy.
  • Railway — hosts our license API (status checks, reissue, refund requests, webhook handling).
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (license file, onboarding messages).
  • Cloudflare Pages — hosts this marketing / product site (archway.origoma.com).

Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We use them only to operate Archway, not to sell your data.

Cookies and tracking

This website is built to run without marketing cookies and without third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar on this site for the soft open).

Checkout may set cookies or similar technologies on Lemon Squeezy’s domains as needed to complete payment securely. That is governed by Lemon Squeezy’s policy, not by a marketing stack we control on archway.origoma.com.

How we use your data

  • License delivery — issue and email your .lic file after purchase or Free signup.
  • Support — answer activation questions and product issues you raise.
  • Reissue — resend the license file to the email on record (self-serve form or manual help).
  • Refunds — verify eligibility and process Pro refunds (see also /refund).
  • Integrity of the product — license status checks, revoke after a valid refund, prevent obvious abuse of reissue/refund endpoints.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your email for bulk marketing newsletters unless you clearly opt in later; transactional license and support mail is separate.

Legal basis (EU / France)

Where GDPR applies, we process data primarily to perform the contract (deliver the license you bought or requested) and for our legitimate interests in securing the service and handling support, refunds, and fraud prevention — balanced against your rights. Where we rely on consent for something optional, we will say so at the point of collection.

How long we keep data

  • Active licenses — email, license id, tier, and order linkage for as long as the license can be used or reissued.
  • After refund or revocation — we keep a minimal record (so we can prove the refund and avoid double claims) typically for up to 3 years, or longer if required for tax/accounting or a legal dispute.
  • Support emails — kept as long as needed to resolve the request, then archived or deleted in the ordinary course of mailbox hygiene.
  • Server logs — retained for a short operational window (days to a few weeks), not as a permanent customer profile.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR if you are in the EU/EEA), you may request:

  • Access — a copy of the personal data we hold about you for Archway licensing.
  • Correction — fix inaccurate email or contact details on the license record where we control them.
  • Deletion — erase personal data where we no longer need it and law does not require retention (we may keep anonymized or strictly necessary refund/order traces).
  • Portability — a machine-readable export of the core fields we store (email, license id, tier, order id) on request.
  • Objection / restriction — in cases where processing is based on legitimate interests, subject to applicable law.

To exercise these rights, email contact@origoma.com with enough detail to find your license (checkout email and/or license id). We will respond within a reasonable time. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in France: the CNIL).

Payment and invoice records held by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record may need to be requested from them as well.

Children

Archway is a developer tool for Unreal Engine projects. It is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the product and stack evolve. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected here; continued use of the site and licenses after an update means you should re-read this page.
